Fiona Hamilton

Fiona was the programme lead at Housing First Auckland from its start in 2017 and fronted the first Auckland-wide Point-in-Time count, Ira Mata, Ira Tangata. She became LinkPeople’s chief executive in 2019.  

A dedicated advocate for the housing and homelessness sector, Fiona contributes as a member of the Community Housing Aotearoa Council and co-chair of the Auckland Community Housing Providers Network.  

Fiona has held research and leadership roles across a range of sectors including the Waitangi Tribunal claim process, mental health workforce development and housing/homelessness.
